- Genspark Claw for Desktop brings AI directly to your local computer and files
- Genspark for Microsoft Office embeds AI agents natively in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Released just three weeks after Workspace 3.0, as the company surpasses $250 million in annual run rate in 12 months
PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Genspark.ai today announced the launch of Genspark AI Workspace 4.0, expanding where and how its AI employee, Genspark Claw, can work on your behalf. The update introduces Genspark Claw for Desktop, giving Genspark Claw direct access to your local computer for the first time, alongside a new Genspark integration embedded natively inside Microsoft Office apps. The release comes after Genspark hit $250M ARR in 12 months and just three weeks after Workspace 3.0, reflecting how quickly the platform is evolving.
Genspark Claw Comes to Your Desktop
Until now, Genspark Claw operated in the cloud. With Workspace 4.0, Genspark Claw for Desktop is a native desktop client that brings Genspark Claw's full capabilities to your local machine. It can now work directly with the files on your computer, without needing you to upload anything, and handle web-based tasks like filling out forms, pulling information from websites, or navigating online tools on your behalf.
What's new in Genspark Claw for Desktop:
- Computer Use: Genspark Claw works directly with your local files. Ask it to find, organize, summarize, or edit files on your machine, no manual upload required.
- Browser Use: Genspark Claw handles web navigation for you, researching, submitting, and completing online tasks end-to-end.
Genspark Comes to Microsoft Office
Separately from Genspark Claw, Genspark's AI agents are now embedded directly inside Microsoft Office as native plugins, so you never have to leave the apps you already use.
- In PowerPoint, Genspark can run deep research and help you edit your slides based on existing templates.
- In Excel, Genspark can analyze your data and generate visualizations.
- In Word, Genspark assists with intelligent document drafting and editing.
"The way people work is being fundamentally rewritten. We built Genspark around the belief that AI should operate as a true employee, one that works across your systems, your files, and your applications without being told where to go or how to start,” said Eric Jing, CEO and co-founder of Genspark. “Bringing that to the desktop and into the tools people already use every day, like Microsoft Office, is the natural next step in making that vision real."
