The summit aims to move beyond policy declarations and envisions a future where AI boosts inclusive growth and humanity while prioritizing security. The summit emphasizes the need for multilateral cooperation to prevent power concentration among a few countries or corporations while fostering locally relevant, culturally aware, and sustainable AI solutions.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event today, calling for the democratization of AI and for moving towards India’s MANAV vision for AI. He emphasized that AI should remain human-centric, guided by ethical principles, including inclusivity, and aligned with democratic values.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres said, “The future of AI cannot be left to the whims of a few billionaires.” He highlighted AI’s potential to boost sustainable development and its risks of deepening inequality and bias, urging global responsibility.
